Students of IUE Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Fashion and Textile Design, showcased their designs they got inspired by Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Nightingale and the Rose’ story, at the Exhibition Hall of Izmir Chamber of Commerce.
Ekrem Demirtaş, President of IUE Board of Trustees, who attended the opening of the exhibition, talked to the students and got information about each collection. Demirtaş said, “Our students need to learn how to present and showcase their designs in addition to learning how to design. They are the ones who will shape the future fashion.”
Prof. Dr. Ender Yazgan Bulgun, Dean of IUE Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, stated that senior students got inspired by Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Nightingale and the Rose’ story, and their creations included many different pieces of clothing.
