Purpose of the Career Guidance and Alumni Relations Directorate

Career Guidance and Alumni Relations Directorate operates with the aim of supporting the professional development of students and alumni, guiding them in identifying their career goals, and contributing to the acquisition of the knowledge, skills, and experience they need in the world of work. The Directorate supports students in discovering their competencies, planning their careers, and managing their transition to professional life in a conscious and effective manner, while also providing alumni with support tailored to their ongoing career development and professional needs.

Serving as a bridge between academic life and the world of work, Career Guidance and Alumni Relations Directorate helps students develop career awareness and acquire the knowledge, skills, and experience aligned with the expectations of different sectors. For alumni, the Directorate provides opportunities for career development, professional and industry connections, events, communication, and various support services, with the aim of strengthening their ties with the University and contributing to their professional development.

Through a range of support mechanisms, including individual career counseling, workshops, events, access to internship and employment opportunities, industry meetings, and institutional collaborations, Career Guidance and Alumni Relations Directorate supports our students in making a strong transition into professional life after graduation and enables our alumni to continuously and sustainably advance their career journeys.

Through its activities carried out in line with current career trends and the evolving needs of the world of work, Career Guidance and Alumni Relations Directorate contributes to helping our students and alumni shape their careers consciously and supports them in becoming competitive, competent, and successful professionals in the workplace.
