What is NIP (National Internship Program)?
It is an early-career program conducted by the Presidential Human Resources Office to ensure that young talents benefit from career opportunities provided by public institutions and private sector organizations within the framework of equal opportunity and merit principles.
Through the program, it is aimed to increase the employability of youth, support equal opportunity in accessing career opportunities, and extend various early-career opportunities to all academic disciplines.
Students applying to the program are evaluated transparently, traceably, and innovatively based on their academic/professional, artistic/social, and sports competency scores, considering their performance throughout their education, their efforts to improve their skills, and their achievements. Employers send offers to students based on their scores in these competency areas without seeing their identity and university information.
In addition to its domestic success, the program is also followed with appreciation abroad and has been recognized six times as a best practice by the OECD. It offers many young people the opportunity to experience professional life while still students and to gain early-career awareness
